Colsec mortuary chambers are available to the same high standards as our modular coldrooms. Our tailor-made mortuary chambers are available in tiers of 2-5 which can be either freestanding or banked side by side to provide the required number of spaces.
All of our panels are manufactured at our plant in Droitwich, Worcestershire. The chambers are fully insulated with 80mm polyurethane foam for reduced running costs. They are finished inside and out in either stainless steel or white Stelvetite coated galvanised steel to the walls and ceiling with plain galvanised steel floor.
All of our doors are also manufactured on site and are surfaced mounted with Chromium plated door furniture and individual card frames. Magnetic gaskets and neoprene wiper gaskets ensure an efficient seal to the frame. Options are available for wider doors, pass-through doors or individual doors to each tray.
The panels have a concealed Cam-Lock arrangement which enables total flexibility in that the room can be disassembled, moved, modified or extended whenever required.
We manufacture all of our own doors and panels which are made using Envirofoam Sustain which is an environmentally friendly foam insulation based around rapeseed oils rather than petrochemicals.
The refrigeration system can be suppled with or without a Refrigeration Unit and if supplied would normally be a self-contained Rivacold Monoblock unit mounted on the roof of the chamber, however this can be re-sited to suit particular requirements. It is fully automatic and comes complete with electronic thermostat/thermometer to control temperatures at 2/4°C. Option for low temperature chambers available on request.
Internal racks and trays can be supplied and fitted as an additional option. All Rollers supplied are white nylon coated which allows for ease of cleaning the interior of the chamber. The body trays are available in either white glass-reinforced plastic or stainless steel.
The floor surface will need to have a level base. The refrigeration system will require a connection to a 13amp power point within 1 metre of the unit.
